Most people get interested in what they like, but only few of
them make real commitment. The difference between interest and commitment is
the will not to give up. When you truly commit to something, you have no
alternative but success. Getting interested will get you started, but
commitment gets you to the finish line.
Success comes to those who dedicate everything to their passion in life. To be successful, it is also very important to be humble and never let fame or money travel to your head
We know SRK as a man of struggle with a career line only
going upwards.
However, most of us don’t aware of the reality. He is not the
one who only saw failure but poverty too, especially after his
parents’ demise. While he is in his mid-teens His father died because of
cancer. After that his mother took care of him until her own death in 1990.
SRK is more passionate about making his career in acting. He got
his first acting break with the 1988 television show ‘Dil Dariya’ which was the
directorial venture of Lekh Tandon. This show’s launch was delayed due to a few
production problems and was released eventually. In 1989, another series named
‘Fauji’ which featured Shah Rukh was launched, which marked his debut in the
world of television.
He followed his passion and to live his dream life, he came
to Mumbai knowing no one, with absolutely no visible means of support, no
friends no follower, with hardly any money and practically no place to stay.
I was a lower middle
class boy from Delhi when I moved to Mumbai. I had ₹1500 in my pocket and wanted
to become big enough to earn in lacks. I’ve slept on the roads. There have been
times I’ve been thrown out of my house because I couldn’t pay the rent –
Shahrukh Khan
At early stage he took on less creative work to overcome poverty. Some
of the films which he accepted were rejected by big stars, but he took them on
to avoid unemployment. His film ‘Deewana’ was released in the year 1992, and
thus the actor’s Bollywood journey began
Most of us don’t know that he made his career on rejected roles. Afraid
of tinkering with the image of a conventional romantic hero, Aamir Khan
rejected the role of an obsessed lover in Darr. Salman Khan refused to play the
ruthless avenger in Baazigar and Saif Ali Khan rejected DDLJ. All these roles
fell through to SRK who contrived the off beat roles with his own style,
passion and hard work and made them bigger than life. These roles are what made
Shah Rukh Khan – the superstar.
Today whatever Shah Rukh Khan is, is because of his
own hard work. With a net worth of US$600 million and a global fan following in
billions, he is literally one of the biggest star of Indian Cinema and the 2nd
richest actor in world cinema. Shah Rukh Khan is the only Indian to have been
conferred with UNESCO’s Pyramide con Marni award for his commitment towards
providing child education
